By accessing or using LeagueBoss (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
LeagueBoss, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Description of Service
LeagueBoss is a web-based platform for managing youth sports leagues. It provides tools for commissioner-managed league administration, player registration, team rostering, scheduling, and score tracking.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a commissioner account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Post or transmit any content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the privacy of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
- Use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
Player Data and Children’s Information
Commissioners and parents who use LeagueBoss to manage or register youth players are responsible for obtaining any required consents for the collection and use of player information. You agree to use player data only for legitimate league administration purposes.
Subscription and Billing
- Free tier accounts are available at no charge subject to usage limits.
- Paid subscriptions are charged on a per-season basis as described on our pricing page.
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew; you must actively purchase for each season.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described in our refund policy.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LeagueBoss, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without our express written permission.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (e.g., league names, schedules). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LeagueBoss, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeagueBoss, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Hilliard, Ohio.
